Marketing Coordinator Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Marketing Coordinator’s goal is to create brand awareness in the community through community-based marketing, while maintaining brand materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and share a monthly event calendar with G&G Team on identified opportunities to participate and
    engage in community events
  • Facilitate promotion of new project events and endings (i.e. groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings etc.)
  • Attend events facilitated by local organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, BBB etc.
  • Participate in a local BNI chapter within Southeast Texas
  • Assist with planning and executing events as directed by the Director of Business Development
  • Work with Director of Business Development and third-party marketing agency to manage website and
    social media platforms including content creation
  • Create and maintain marketing materials for company resume to assist in the Bid submittal process
  • Work with Director of Business Development to design and order company promotional products
  • Update and maintain all company materials for proper branding
  • Maintain and build strong relationships to produce new business opportunities
  • Attend all required G&G team meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Marketing preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Canva and Adobe
  • Ability to meet expectation of confidentiality requirements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Experience in designing and creating high quality social media content required
  • Experience in photography/videography/drone and graphic design preferred

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday; May include after hours and on weekends
