Marketing Coordinator
Marketing Coordinator Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator’s goal is to create brand awareness in the community through community-based marketing, while maintaining brand materials.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and share a monthly event calendar with G&G Team on identified opportunities to participate and
engage in community events - Facilitate promotion of new project events and endings (i.e. groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings etc.)
- Attend events facilitated by local organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, BBB etc.
- Participate in a local BNI chapter within Southeast Texas
- Assist with planning and executing events as directed by the Director of Business Development
- Work with Director of Business Development and third-party marketing agency to manage website and
social media platforms including content creation - Create and maintain marketing materials for company resume to assist in the Bid submittal process
- Work with Director of Business Development to design and order company promotional products
- Update and maintain all company materials for proper branding
- Maintain and build strong relationships to produce new business opportunities
- Attend all required G&G team meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Marketing preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Canva and Adobe
- Ability to meet expectation of confidentiality requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Experience in designing and creating high quality social media content required
- Experience in photography/videography/drone and graphic design preferred
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday; May include after hours and on weekends
